Hoa Đất designed a unique desktop calendar showcasing Vietnamese culture through thoughtful craftsmanship and storytelling. The calendar features a laser-cut wooden stand and loose pages, with each month illustrated to highlight a significant event or tradition tied to that month.
How do you design a desktop calendar that stands out as both functional and decorative? The goal was to create a fresh alternative to the conventional calendars people use year after year, offering practicality with a touch of creativity.
We focused on 3 key areas
1-Product Design: A minimalist laser-cut wooden stand provides a sturdy yet elegant base, complementing the loose-page format for easy usability.
2-Visual Storytelling: Each month features a hand-drawn illustration depicting a culturally significant event, from traditional festivals to historical milestones.
3-Unique Selling Points: The dual-month layout on each page balances practicality with design, allowing users to enjoy the art while organizing their schedules.
This desktop calendar embodies Hoa Đất’s dedication to craftsmanship and cultural storytelling, serving as both a functional tool and a celebration of Vietnam’s rich heritage. It’s a meaningful addition to any workspace, blending art and tradition seamlessly.
