RECAP WORKSHOP “FOOD PACKAGING: INSIDE OUT”

On May 23, 2025, the specialized workshop “Food Packaging: Inside out” organized by Hoa Đất took place at Hoa Đất Workspace. The event attracted a large number of young professionals working in graphic design, printing, and especially those passionate about or looking to deepen their knowledge in the field of food packaging.

EXPERT-LED SESSION

Leading the workshop was Mr. Ân Nguyễn – Lead Designer at Hoa Đất Agency, who brought over 20 years of experience in graphic design and food packaging printing. His session delivered a wealth of practical knowledge, distilled from real-world projects, making it relevant for both beginners and experienced professionals.

The workshop focused on essential knowledge in food packaging design, including: an overview of commonly used packaging materials, key standards in the design and production process, the step-by-step development journey from concept to printed product, as well as the application of modern printing technologies and real-world quality control methods.

INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES

At the workshop, participants had the chance to gain hands-on experience by examining both completed and defective packaging samples, along with practical case studies in packaging design and printing. The Q&A session was vibrant and engaging, featuring insightful questions about materials, cost estimation, working processes with printing vendors, and how to build a brand identity system through packaging design.

The energy continued with an engaging Kahoot minigame focused on food packaging. Participants reviewed key takeaways, interacted with each other, and competed for fun prizes from the organizers.
